Under the Hood.
Tech Deep-Dive.

LazyLips is not a simple wrapper app. It is a native extension deeply integrated into macOS. Here is the documentation of our hidden protection and performance features.

IDE Context-Firewall

Programmers dictate differently. When LazyLips detects that your active window is a code editor (like Cursor, VS Code or Xcode), an invisible protective shield is immediately activated.

# What happens?
The "Locker" (1:1) mode is temporarily overridden in editors. The AI is obligatorily interposed to ensure that camelCaseVariables, Syntax and indentations never break your code when dictating.

Zero-Latency App Switcher

Commands like "Open Safari" are parsed by our local regex engine. The cloud server is 100% bypassed. LazyLips communicates directly with macOS's native NSWorkspace API for a switch in 0.0 seconds.

Smart Auto-Spacing Engine

Monitors the milliseconds between your dictations. If you continue speaking fluently, the engine intelligently inserts a space. After a punctuation mark (like . or !), it is cleverly ignored, for seamless sentence chaining without touching up.

1:1 Native Wispr Bypass

For extremely fast messenger chats (WhatsApp, Slack): When you activate "Locker" mode and are not programming, LazyLips turns off the grammar AI completely. The raw Whisper signal is injected as hardware input. Pure speed.

Conversational Filter

Understands human filler words in system commands. When you say: "Can you please open WhatsApp?", it doesn't confuse the machine. Our local filter engine extracts the core command and ignores the rest.
