How to Use the Live Translator
1. Set Target Language
Open Settings → Translator. Choose the language you want to translate into.
2. Enable the Translator
Turn on the Live Translator in the menu bar or the settings.
3. Speak in Your Native Language
Press FN or say "Type" and dictate in your language.
4. Perfect Translation Appears
LazyLips types the finished translation directly into your text field. Done.

How good is the translation quality?
The AI uses context-based translation — comparable to DeepL quality. For business emails, messages, and general texts, the quality is very high. For highly specialized technical texts, we recommend a review.
Can I change the source language?
The source language is automatically detected. You can set your native language in the settings under "General".
Does the translation take longer than normal dictation?
Yes, about 1-2 seconds longer, as the AI must first understand the complete context. The error-free result is worth this short waiting time.
